I have built many websites using the WordPress platform. I often add content for clients, and I also help clients learn the WordPress system so they can manage their own pages. I make clean and simple sites, and also produce some very simple logo designs for websites and other uses.

Services:

  • You will need to sign up for a hosting service before we get started. You will need to send me a username and password so I can access your account. Click here for more information on hosting
  • Installation and setup of WordPress software. WordPress is a Content Management System, a way of organizing and maintaining all the content on your website. To learn more about WordPress click here
  • Installation of a standard set of software add-ons, called plug-ins, that help you maintain your website. Here is a list of the plug-ins I typically use. You can also request that I install different or additional plug-ins, such as image galleries, Internet commerce software, calendars, newsletters, and just about anything you can imagine!
  • Installation of a basic design for your website, which includes fonts, colors, layout, and graphics. I purchase my base designs from Elegant Themes
  • Advanced editing to customize fonts, colors, layout, and graphics.
  • Creation of logos, images, and other custom graphics needed for the site, including the purchase of stock photos and graphics.
  • Installation of a mobile site for customers who view the site using a mobile device such as a smart phone. Advanced editing of graphics and colors to give the mobile site a look similar to the base, local site. View this site on your mobile device for an example.
  • The addition of content to the pages of your site, including text and information, images and photographs, and navigation menus. I can also add maps, recipes, sign-up forms, and about any other kind of content you can think of.
  • Ongoing technical support for your website via email or phone during normal business hours. Please allow 2 business days to make changes. I do handle urgent issues as soon as possible.
  • Access to videos that demonstrate how to manage and add content to your WordPress site.
