This is a church website I just completed. It has a custom flash intro in the header that I created. This is my first site with custom, animated header graphics. I think it turned out pretty awesome.
Capturing the spirit of Green Street Church wasn’t easy for me. I really struggle with the design. I attend the church, and in speaking with Pastor Kelly it was clear that the site needed to be clean and simple–almost humble, while at the same time reflecting the vibrancy and diversity of the Green Street congregation.
I settled on a dark green header with a minimal scrolling background that would convey a sort of ancient feel. Green Street Church shirts and magnets have a dark green background. I used a green/silver/gold color scheme. The site looks modern and clean but also fun and inviting.
