Who are we when we come face to face with sin? Is it something we fight? Is it something we flee? Is it something we fear?

The seven deadly sins have historically been accepted as common struggles of all humankind. We’ll be looking at these sins and discovering practices that redeem them.

Worship is every Tuesday at 8:30pm in the Fellowship Hall of Centenary UMC.

Wesley House Intentional Community

The Wesley House is more than just a place for meals and meetings. The Wesley House is also meant to be a place where true community is formed, nurtured, and extended to all of Wesley and our Macon neighbors. Our desire is that the students who live in the Wesley House be intentional about living in community with one another through actively growing in their faith together throughout the school year.

There is space for seven students in the Wesley House.

Suite – single room with private bathroom – $425/mo
Two Single rooms – $375/mo
Semi-private – two rooms through one entrance – $325/mo
Double – one room with bunk beds – $275/mo

The residents get full use of the main kitchen in the Wesley House as well as share the common room for guests, TV watching, reading, etc.

Who should apply?

Anyone!

Since we know that many students have group arrangements for living, we are encouraging groups of at least four to apply to live in the house.

Individuals who are not part of a group are also welcome to apply.

All who are accepted to live in the Wesley House will be asked to decide upon a Community Covenant outlining the intentional ways faith and community will be exercised throughout the school year.

During Lent, we will have two groups going through Final Words from the Cross, by Adam Hamilton.

Please follow this link to sign-up for one of the groups. Your group leader will email you with time/location details.

We are a ministry open to all students and young adults in the Macon area. Come worship with us Tuesday nights @ 8:30pm in the Centenary UMC fellowship hall.
